Sa’a is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With a degree in Pyschology and Neuroscience as well as a minor in Medical Anthropology, Sa’a developed an understanding of mental illness and the role it plays in an individual’s wellbeing, as well as an awareness of the impact of culture on the different aspects of the lived experiences of human beings. With Cameroonian and Nigerian roots, Sa’a’s upbringing was very much shaped by West African influence and her passions align with the mission of 4Congo: to promote public safety, child education, women’s health and job opportunities within the African community.  Sa’a is excited to work with 4Congo as this organization aims to improve the daily lives of the Congolese people

Congolese by birth and blood, our founder was raised in central North Carolina. She is currently Miss Congo NC 2016 and the daughter of Famous Comedic Actor, BonBon Fifi, and Mireille Makalebo. This organization started as a campaign but after time, evolved into an organization due to current crisis. She plans to have an international impact and give a voice to those that have been silenced in the Democratic Republic of Congo though social and multi media. Inspired by Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, and her mother, she hopes to impact all of Africa, but she chose to start with home first.

Julie Sambu a native of DRC raised in the Nashville, Tennessee. She is a graduate from Milligan College with a Bachelor degree of Science in Nursing. She is passionate about women's and children's health and choses to shows it by promoting preventable programs to bring awareness to congolese communities. Ms. Sambu goal for the organization is to educate, empower, and improve the provision of health services for women and girls in DRC. She strives to work hard to be an advocate for her people.

Ukpai is known as our Nigerian brother. He is an energetic, savvy and a well driven team member that has been with 4Congo from the near beginning. He is an Honors student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, double majoring in Philosophy and Psychology. He plans on attending Law School within a years time. He is Founder of the Pachmond Initiative, an organization geared towards creating opportunities  for young female students in higher institutions. He is also known to be an Entrepreneur, Poet and writer. His keen attention to detail, warm heart and energetic spirit makes him a one of a kind person.

Amanda Sherrod is a Raleigh, North Carolina native. A Theatre Education major and Africana Studies minor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she has a strong passion for advocating in her community and the arts. She believes in using performance art to evoke conversation and develop steps toward social justice. Ms. Sherrod's goals for the organization is to give a voice to the unheard people of DRC, and bring attention to the current issues of Congo. She also creates events within the organization to support the youth and families of Congo refugees in the U.S.
